If you found yourself here, welcome to my website and first blog post! My name is Ashli Booska and I am the owner and creator behind Dreadful Locks! I want to utilize my website as a space where clients can come and talk/learn/share their ideas and experiences having dreadlocks.

Something I am super passionate about is decorating dreadlocks! I’m an artist first, always. My mother, grandmother and great grandmother are all artists. No matter what medium, we like to create a work of art. I began with sketching+painting and later went into darkroom photography (favorite) but have shifted to hair as my canvas and I’m so thankful dreadlocks are a versatile, ever changing medium that also happens to have a beautiful soul attached <3

In this thread, I’d like to share pieces I’m working on for sale and my clients dreadlocks I’ve decorated. I hope this can help give you inspiration for your next decoration sesh! There is never TOO MUCH or too little in my opinion!
