DREADLOCK DETOX/PRE-MAINTENANCE PREPARATION

This is required before any/all appointments.
To get the most out of your maintenance, your dreadlocks need to be clean and 100% DRY!
Crochet will not take to wet or damp hair.
Dreadful Locks At Home Detox:
Stir all ingredients till dissolved in a bucket/sink/tub/basin.
Soak dreadlocks and scalp for 20-30 minutes. (longer the better)
Squeeze dreadlocks and scrub scalp thoroughly. Repeat! Repeat!
Rinse & repeat with new mixture if needed.
Please do not use any wax/gels/pomades or locking powders.
A week before your appointment, I require clients do to a deep cleanse/detox on your dreadlocks. This removes any residue/build up/dry skin. Please wash your scalp the day or two before your scheduled appointment and come in with completely dry hair. I carry Detox Kits in my studio, and my online shop or you can make your own at home!
I have the right to refuse any client who comes in with overly dirty hair. Personal hygiene is a must!

- 3/4 cup baking soda
- 1 cup of apple cider vinegar
- 5-10 drops tea tree/other essential oil
- 1/2 cup of witch hazel
- 4-6 gallons of water
